Using cheats is objectively stupid, it makes an already short game even shorter and takes away the achievement factor, the satisfaction of working towards a goal and obtaining it through effort.

Pretty much every political group uses those tactics in one way or another. Shaming tactics are also used by religionists ("You don't want to be like the baptists, do you?"), libertarians ("I did not know you supported theft and violence!"), and generally abusive people ("Only freaks want to play video games!
